The things people always ask before booking.
Do I need a referral?
No referral needed for a standard appointment. You only need one for Medicare EPC, WorkCover or DVA — your GP can organise that.
What should I bring?
Any scans or reports you have, your health fund card, and comfortable clothing that gives access to the area being treated.
How long is the first session?
Your initial assessment runs 60 minutes — not 30 like everywhere else. We take the time to actually understand what’s going on.
Do you bulk bill?
We don’t bulk bill, but we accept Medicare EPC plans with a gap. A GP Management Plan gives you up to 5 subsidised sessions per year.
Can I claim on health insurance?
Yes. We accept all major private health funds. Pay on the day and claim back through your fund — rebate depends on your level of cover.
Is parking available?
Yes — both locations have on-site parking. The Varsity Lakes clinic is inside CMBT Training Centre with easy access from the carpark.
