We know the mental as well as physical struggles that come with recovering from surgery. Let us restore your confidence along with your function! Our goal is to get you better than what you were performing at prior to your injury. I myself have gone through the grueling recovery process of six surgeries from traumatic sporting accidents. Here is just a glimpse of a few cases we have worked with.

RECOVERY FROM ANKLE SURGERY

Physiotherapy to recover from ankle surgery and return to soccer.
Building unilateral strength
Introducing plyometrics with stability training in late stage rehab
Retraining force absorption as well as force production
Change of direction combined with reaction drills to return to sport
Using self-mobilisation techniques to restore ankle mobility
Rehabbing balance, proprioception and stability around the lower limb
If you’re not testing, you’re guessing. Here we are looking at the capacity of the calf complex.
We always incorporate manual therapy and hands-on techniques to reduce pain and improve range of motion in the early stages. Calming down the nervous system after surgery trauma is essential.

ACL REHAB

We have had many athletes come to us for ACL rehab: non-surgical management, post-op, and failed management from previous surgeries and practitioners.
Utilising neuromuscular stimulation to facilitate muscle fiber recruitment or “wake-up” muscles post-op.

POST-OP SHOULDER PHYSIOTHERAPY

Came in unable to do basic everyday tasks.
We decided surgery was the best option for her situation and goals.
Could not lift or hold up her own arm prior to surgery.
She has put in work everyday and her shoulder is much better than we she first came in.
She has now returned to yoga and all activities!
